Awesome product!! I too purchased this product because I am trying to eat as little refined sugar as possible. Thought this would be a great way to get healthier and off the white sugar. The taste of the coconut sugar is amazing to say the least!! I mainly use it in my coffee every morning but also use it in baking and some desserts. Like Jenni...........I also have used it in banana bread and it made it taste so good!! Way better than using white sugar! It just kicks it up a notch in flavor!! This really is a great product and great value! I have priced coconut sugar on other sites and it was two or three times more expensive. This is the only place I will buy it! A great alternative to refined sugar I bought this on a lark because I'm trying to find ways around using refined sugar and gear myself up for an even healthier eating style. I'm glad I did. Though I'm not known by friends of family for being terribly talented in the baking department, I took a stab at making some homemade banana bread with this stuff and it came out delicious. The coconut sugar has a subtle taste all it's own, which made the bread taste a touch more exotic (to me anyway). I really like the overall flavor this sugar adds to stuff and it helps to know that it's a little better for me than regular sugar and I have a major sweet tooth so that can be a bummer when you're trying eat the right stuff and stay healthy. For what it's worth, you do get a subtle hint of coconut when using this so if you hate coconut, maybe this won't work for you. Otherwise, it's wonderful and worth trying. February 23, 2012
