New energy within a few days I have been taking regular Co Q 10 for 3 years, 300 mg daily. I would be exhausted by 8 PM like I "hit the wall" and just had to go to bed. I have had by-pass surgery and take a statin. Within a few days of taking 100 mg Ubiquinol, my energy level is dramatically better. I do get tired when I've had a busy day, but not the complete exhaustion I had been experiencing. My 91 year old mother is also taking Ubiguinol and has more energy. too. August 28, 2011
Upset stomach I started taking one 100 mg. capsule once a day. Within about a week I started getting stomach cramps and diarrhea. I stopped taking it and the stomach problems went away. I tried taking it again and the same thing happened so I cut the dosage down to twice a week while taking 30 mg. of CoQ-10 each of the rest of the days of the week. This dosage did not present any problems. I don't take statin drugs and I take a LOT of vitamins per day so I may not need as much ubiquinol as the next guy. I am thinking about reordering the lower 50 mg. capsule to see what effect taking that daily will be. You can try the 100 mg. or higher dose and if you get the same symptoms you can try taking it every other day or less to see what happens but just be aware that you may get temporary stomach upset.
