Great for my joints I have been taking Clucosamine for over 20 years. I have been taking this Puritans Pride version for over 12 years. I find the Glucosamine, Chondroitin plus MSM works best for my knees. If I use a product missing one of these items my knees start hearting in about 2 weeks. January 26, 2012

Great for old wore-out athletic joints!!! I have been using this for 10+ years. Give it about 2 weeks to kick in and you will appreciate the difference. I am convinced! I was taking 2 Aleve every day to try and control the pain in my knee from an old ACL injury and the arthritis that had developed. I was concerned about the constant use and the potential damage to my GI tract, so I took chance on this product. Although it took about two weeks of pain and discomfort until it took affect - with no Aleve - and it has proven to be well worth that period of pain. I take two a day, and I am pain free. An Experts opinion...for FREE!!! I'm a Fitness Professional and I have been studying the Pros and Cons of all JOINT supplements for the past 15 yrs since I lost cartiledge in my knee from an injury and surgery. It's been a long and frustrating journey. I have spent lots & lots of money to try to find remedies, solutions, relief, etc and here is the bottom line from my years of study and research: You need a minimum of 1500 mg of Glucosamine and 1200 mg of Chondroitin in order to see any benefits in your joints. Any less does not work. I've read this over and over by experts and I have found this to be true in my own experience. Nothing else works the same. It does not happen overnight. You must continue to take them 30-90 days before you start to notice a relief in your joints. MSM is good to have too. Shark cartilage, Boswellia and Hyaluronic Acid all seem to be a waste of money to me and have no proof of any benefits. The creams don't even give you ANY idea of how much Glucosamine and Chondroitin you are getting and so they could easy mislead and rob you and those are the TWO MOST IMPORTANT ingredients. If they don't list it, they know they aren't giving you quality, just convenience, in the product. What's more important to you? You pay a lot for quality. I have tried this particular Tpl Strength product listed above by Puritan Pride and I really like the benefits I received after the initial 30-90 days, however, I hate the size of the pills and I hate taking 2 a day, what a pain. I hate the expense too but they are very competitive compared to other brands who offer the same dosage. Remember to take them WITH FOOD or you will feel ill. The less pills per day you take, the more likely you will be willing to take them. Best wishes February 20, 2012
