Great taste
I put this in my fruit smoothies and it gives it a wonderful coconut flavor. The coconut oil I bought at a local store isn't even half as good so I am now reordering because it goes quickly in my house.

I have to agree with the other reviews..
I was not expecting much, But when I opened the jar, It was love at first sight. There was no hint at all of perfume or chemicals..Just pure unaltered young,coconut oil scent. I got two jars...use one for cooking fish & curries, the other for saturating my hair & putting into my bath. I even rub it on my bull terriers as it makes them smell good & nourishes their skin. I am hooked!

This is an amazing product
This product is great, both for internal consumption and external use. Amazing for skin and hair, and also for shaving!!! I just wanted to answer the person who complained about the oil being solid. Coconut oil solidifies below 76 degrees. So you must live in a very cold area, since your oil was so solid. If you live in a warm area such as myself (half the time in Miami and half in the Caribean) your oil will be 100% liquid all the time. However, the oil melts very fast. Just rub it between your hands (it literally takes one rub) and immediatly turns to liquid. Or if you want it liquid out of the jar, just place the jar in hot water, and it will start to melt right away. Do not microwave or heat at high temperatures. It will affect the integrity of the product. You can keep some in a smaller bottle and keep the bottle close to a heat source (hot lamp, radiator etc) and it will keep liquid. In colder weather I have even just turned on my blow dryer and hit the bottle with the hot air, and the oil melts right away. 30 seconds of hot air and I have enough oil. So, just know that yes, it is normal for coconut oil to be solid in cold temperatures, but it melts really fast.
The benefits of this oil are amazing. Too bad we can't give details because of the restriccions, but it you have any condition that makes your skin super dry and itchy, go for coconut oil, you won't regret it. And take 1 or 2 teaspoons a day internally. Just look up the benefits online. You'll be amazed. It really works.

Great product!
I have tried multiple brands of pure coconut oil, but this exceeds them all. The results in my hair and skin are amazing. Neither are dry anymore and are moisturized perfectly. The oil is absorbed quickly on my skin and stays moist the whole day. I even used this as an after-sun product while in Mexico and my skin stayed soft and moist. I use the same oil, different jar, in the kitchen for sauteing and as a spread. The flavor and aroma are very soft and pleasing. Love, love, love this stuff.

Nothing short of amazing!!!
I bought this oil to use on my skin and hair, after reading about the benefits of coconut oil online. I found great reviews about it, and so decided to give it a try. OMG!!! where has this been all my life. This transformed my hair from the first try. I saturated my dry hair with it. Wrapped it in a plastic bag and started cleaning the house. So I had it on for about 4 hours(but 30 minutes to an hour should be enough). Washed it out real good and conditioned. I applied a few drops of jojoba oil to my wet hair, tied it into a pony tail and let it air dry. I slept with the pony tail that night.
In the morning I took out the pony tail, and I had soft, thick, shiny, beautiful bouncy hair!!! I took out my revo styler and was able to straighten out my 3b curly hair in about 15 minutes (I applied some Redken heat glide por heat protection). OMG, my damaged, thin, dry, brittle, dull hair, was now fabulous!!! And it looked so thick!!! It stayed straight in the humid weather, and the shine was amazing!!! A week after I had my stylist blow dry my hair, after applying my usual leave in conditioner, and it was even better!!! Super soft, thick, full, shiny hair!!! I'm in love.
I also use it on my skin, and I love it!!! My skin is soft and beautiful. The taste and smell are mild and pleasant. And the scent disapears quickly. I will never buy another bottle of lotion full of chemicals. Thi is it for me!!!
Only thing I don't like is the plastic tub. So next time I will try a brand in a glass jar. But other than that I love this stuff.

unbelievable results in my race horse
I have been using coconut oil shaved off in my lunch feed for my race horse for over a month now.Not only in the winter months has she maintained a beautiful coat,shining better than in the summer,but her conditioning level is better,she blows less after a gallop than she use to,and she won her last race at a mile and a sixteenth wire to wire.I truly believe(ive had her since a baby)this has benefitted her tremendously.

Not just for cooking
I realize that most of you will be purchasing this for cooking/eating purposes, but I use it for a moisturizer, and a hair conditioner. In fact, I have never used it for cooking, but should try! It is a wonderful moisturizer, and I use it after every bath and shower. It is an oil, so sunblock may be warranted. It goes on fast, if it's hot out, it's a liquid, if it's cold, it's a solid you need to let warm for a second (really - only a second, rub your hands together). It does feel a tad greasy for a moment, but then absorbs in. If you need deep conditioning for your hair, this is it. I use this in my hair, let sit with a shower cap for an hour (longer if I have the time, and can...) and then wash, usually two times. Not only will it keep your skin and hair soft, it smells very lightly of coconut. There is no real smell after a short time. You'll love it for your body and hair. Try it! also - $$$ compare it to the things you purchase for that purpose, you'll save a ton. Removes make-up, stickers from things, has a million purposes.

been using this for years, initially i use this to help keep me"regular". but i also saute/cook with it. you can eat it and use it to moisturize with also. think about it if you can eat it, then you can moisturize with it
